she suddenly called me, told me to find another bridal alternatives to compare with the one that WE had chosen together 2 weeks ago!!! I chose it not alone, but with her! now she doubt the quality of the bridal and told me to try others. the thing is I'd paid the down payment already!! ANd I thought she knew it already. but apparently, she thought that it was the down payment for the pre-wed dress only..oh dear me dear me.... *sigh ... what am i to doooooo?? helpppppppp...

bridal accessories .. oh how I love those little things
well hello people.. it's Monday today .. not our favorite day, but we still have to face it. and I am not feeling that well too. I think I am having tummy problem, due to too much eating on the last weekend with Mom n Dad .. *regretful sigh..
anyhoo .. This morning I had a sudden thought of ordering hairpieces for my pre-wedding photo shoots, and maybe for my wedding day too. I remember that a friend of mine is making vintage classic accessories , like headbands, bracelet and necklaces, made from fabrics and beautiful stones. and the price is good too. So, this morning, I went to visit her blog at http://charlindandrochelle.blogspot.com/ and made some inquiries about bridal hairpieces. After a few talks through Blackberry with her, I decided to order a set of small birdcage veil with the bracelet in similar design .. so excited and can't wait for the designs to come out. will post it later when it's done. and I might gonna order a piece of hairband too *wink

Photo Corner for my wedding
hiya all.. it's Friday yayyy.. but I am busy.. I have 2 appointments for today, beside my job .. I had one this morning with Click Print Photo (http://www.clickprintphoto.com). They will provide extra photos for the wedding guests with special background. the background will be provided by the decorator of course, but the Click Print will provide the photographer, the printout, the paper frame and even some extra attributes like big glasses, big wild wig, hats, or as per requested.
How does it work? It works like a polaroid photo. Guests come, stand in the provided corner, then Clik Print will take a photo, wait for 5-10 seconds, it's ready and the guests can take it home with provided paper frame. it's pretty too .. :)) simple and quick.
So, I met with Nancy from Click Print. She was very friendly. Very helpful too. She showed me some of the frame samples. The prices range from Rp.2.500.000 up til Rp. 4.500.000,- , depends on what you need. the packages are valuable too. They can help you design your decoration for the photos and the frames as well.

planning for my BFF housewarming party
in the middle og my wedding preparation and vendor search, I am helping my BFF, Ms. Adelheid Anna, to preapre for her housewarming party. She is moving to an apartment, and as she said, planning to renew her life. sooooo to wish her good luck for her new plan, I am gonna help her preparing for the housewarming party, which will be held on 15 and 16th October 2011.
for the food, we'll be preparing some finger foods, such as chicken nuggets, mini sausages, french fries, spring rolls and some mini shiumays. for the dessert, I am planning to order some cupcakes from Ms. Cecilia Siantar. I asked her to make coffee theme decoration for the cupcakes, because Ms Anna is a coffee addict! (like me :P) So, I ended up doing some research for some coffee decor idea
Here I came up with some pretty cute coffee-inspired-cupcakes ..

Birdcage Mania!!
sinceI started doing the scrapbook projects, I fell in love madly with everything about birdcages.. the cages itself, dhe stickers, the chipboards! i love them.. seriously.
So when I decided the theme for my wedding, I want birdcages all over the venue. I told my EO, i want them as centerpieces, as hanging ornaments, or as photo display .. i don't care i just want them.. I even thought of ordering birdcages cookies and cupcakes from my friend, Cecilia Siantar.

Diet Regimen
oh well since I am quite a big girl, i need to be on diet before my wedding and my prewedding photoshoots, which will happen on December! So currently, I am doing a diet catering thru my friend, Vera, who runs LiveHealthy DietCatering. You can find the page on my Facebook Friend's List. She will help you decide which program you should take, depends on ur needs :) they deliver it on time and the taste isn't that bad at all. just bear with the bland taste since the diet food is less salty or sweet. the menu is quite varying.
i am also trying to be at the gym as much as i can. It's pretty hard doing the gym, with my schedule. i have meetings regarding the wedding plan, search for more vendors, looking for some ideas, work in the morning.. so it's pretty hard but i am managing. Luckily my parents are pretty supportive with my schedule. But I decide that Sunday will be my day off. Not doing any thinking, searching or meeting on that day. It's a resting day for me.

hmm i am kinda stressed out right now.. just yesterday my supposedly decor friend told me that her price might be over my budget.. so she asked me to find a second opinion or so .. it's quite stressful and hard to find the one who understands my imagination. :( but I called my crazy friend, Anna, and crazy EO, Alex. they told me not to worry and they'll help me to find a good one :( i am crossing my fingers.. i still hope my decor friend still be able to give me a good price .. *sigh
then this morning, my mom insisted on inviting 40 or more of her friends to the party.. OMG .. -__- i don't know half of them huaa.. this is one of many reasons i don't like throwing a big wedding party... *sigh ..
oh well, I just hope things will go well and i can find a better solution,. don't really wanna think about it.. i think i need a ciggy or more coffee to calm my nerves.. whichever is available sooner -__-

the wedding theme and decoration
as I mentioned earlier on "about me", I am a girl who loves old classic vintage things .. so, for the wedding theme,I am gonna have Classic English Garden theme with lots of vintage style decoration all around, such as birdcages and old fashioned bike.
Since my mom doesn't want an outdoor wedding, due to the hot weather in my town, I am trying to decorate the ballroom as an english garden. I don't know how I can make it, but I tell Maya to make sure the garden is there on the big day :P ..

since I am alone here with my sisters and best friend so far away, I am lucky to have my BFF Anna to help. She has a lot of experience with organizing events, thanks to her working experience with Honda dealers in Surabaya. so she is the Chief of my Crazy Team. Her assistant will be Alex.. hihihi ..He has lots of creative ideas for my wedding day and crazy of course.
Then, of course, I have my Mom to go to vendors and bargain with them. She is a better bargainer than me :P Ms. Maya is included in the team, even though she is not as crazy as us, but she is also vital for the plan. Ms Ivon is included. She will be the cheerleader lol .. Said she will help me thru prayers .. *haizz..
so there you go my crazy team .. :) they are crazy but fun to be with ^^

with the help from Ms Anna, I started the search for the vendors that had been recommended by friends who got married already and, of course, by Ms. Anna..
so, I started to call the vendors, u name it. decor, EO, bridal, the venue. I called everyone and everything.. lol .. the first one week had been crazy!! my mom dragged me all over the city to meet with he vendors! I had to leave my office and my side job as scrapbooker .. *sigh ... it was one week of hell!
setelah pencarian yang mbulet, ribet dan emosional (ciehhh...) akhirnya kutemukan lah vendor2 buat wedding ku;

Alexander from LightHouse Event Organizer. nahh ini Asisten Kepala suku .. lol .. he is as crazy as Anna, but he seems calmer than Anna. mungkin karena dia ini vegan kali yah .. ngefek ga sih? oh well, pokoknya menurut mamaku, Alex ini kalem yah .. ckckckc .. padahal setelah kenal lbh deket, ga beda ama Anna hihi.. :P masih single lohhh.. ada yang mau gak? :P
7. Hendro Art Photography (http://www.hendrophoto.com/) .. ini tukang foto dah lama banget jadi langganan keluarga. terkenal eksentrik dan klasik nya. nah karena Mama Papa udah cinta mati sama Om Hendro, akhirnya dipilih lah beliau untuk mengabadikan hari H nanti.

the beginning story
okay.. so I finally reached the age of where a girl is supposed to get married. According to my mother, I am old enough to get married now.. so she decided that I should get married next year. *yay
I had been together with my boyfriend for more than 3 years when we finally decided to get engaged on last February 2011. after 6 months of being engaged, our families decided that we should get married. According to the old Chinese tradition, it is not proper to be engaged for too long.
So, once the parents decided the date, which is May 5th,2012, I started to assemble a team to plan the big day. since my fiance is working out of town, I am the one who will be in charge (hohoo) .. well, of course I still have to discuss things with him and the family.
With the help from my multitasking BFF, Ms. Anna, I started to assemble the team. who are they? I'll list their names on the next post :))

hello and welcome to my blog. hmm been wanting to write a blog but have no confidence and no serious topic to talk about. but then here comes the big plan of my life and my crazy BFF, Adelheid Anna, encouraged me to make one.
so here I am, trying to write and share some of the funny and touchy stories of my wedding plan with my crazy wedding team..
